Combed Cotton: Combed cotton is a type of cotton which undergoes an additional combing process during spinning in order to remove fibers shorter than 1cm and impurities, leaving longer and neater fibers to create smooth yarn. Combed cotton is usually smoother than regular cotton; combed cotton products usually have a flatter and more even surface. As impurities are removed through the additional combing process, combed cotton can have better hand feel and is commonly used for personal products like socks and underwear. Due to higher processing costs, combed cotton is relatively expensive compared with other types of cotton. Combed cotton is regularly used for our socks products, and is deeply favored by consumers.

Siro spinning: In Siro spinning, the spinning machine is fed by two separate rovings, maintained at a specific distance. After drafting, the front roller feeds out two single strands of yarn, which are then twisted into a single strand of yarn. Siro spinning is a special spinning process, producing fibreless, strong, and durable yarn with good piling effect. The Siro spinning method is commonly used to spin fibers such as rayon, modal, Tencel, soybean fiber and even cotton. Tay Hsin uses Siro spinning material in sports performance socks for added comfort and durability.
